HATFIELD, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that the North Penn Water Authority will commence utility improvements on Route 463 (West Broad Street) in Hatfield Borough, Montgomery County. Beginning Wednesday, October 9, the road will be closed on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM until Friday, December 20. The closure spans between Route 463 (Main Street) and Towamencin Avenue.
During this period, motorists will be detoured via Route 463 (Main Street/Cowpath Road), Orvilla Road, and Route 63 (Welsh Road). While local access will remain available up to the work zone, travelers should anticipate delays and allow extra time for their journeys. The initiative is a vital part of infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing water utility services in the area.
