Maintenance Activities to Cause Road Closures in Bucks County

Traffic, flagging

BUCJS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced scheduled road closures in Bucks County for various maintenance activities.

Starting Tuesday, August 20, and continuing through Tuesday, August 27, Rocky Ridge Road/Rock Hill Road will be closed on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The closure affects the stretch between Paletown Road and Route 313 (Doylestown Pike) in Richland and East Rockhill townships. This period is allocated for base repair work. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Paletown Road and Route 313 as detour routes.

Additionally, from August 20 through August 27, Route 263 (Upper York Road) will experience periodic weekday closures between Lower York Road and Route 32 (River Road) in Solebury and Buckingham townships. These closures, also scheduled from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, are necessary for pipe replacement. Motorists will be directed to use Lower York Road and Route 32 (River Road) as alternatives during this time.

Local access will be maintained in both areas. Drivers should plan for extra travel time due to potential backups and delays. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
