Lisa Brubaker Steps into New Role as Chief Human Resources Officer at WSFS Bank

WILMINGTON, DE — WSFS Bank, the principal subsidiary of WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: WSFS), has recently announced a key executive appointment. Lisa Brubaker, an esteemed veteran at WSFS, will take on the role of Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and will report directly to Rodger Levenson, Chairman, President, and CEO of WSFS.

In her new position, Brubaker will be responsible for leading all aspects of the Human Resources functions. This includes Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Operations, Learning & Development, Associate Engagement, and the critical area of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Levenson expressed confidence in Brubaker’s ability to excel in her new role, citing her proven leadership skills, deep understanding of the WSFS culture, and extensive experience amassed over various roles within the company.

Brubaker previously served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for WSFS, overseeing Technology Infrastructure, Application Development and Support, Information and Cybersecurity, Bank Operations, Enterprise Project Management, and enhancements to customer-facing digital solutions. She will continue to oversee these areas during the search for her successor.

Since joining WSFS in 1987, Brubaker has held a range of roles with increasing responsibilities. Her portfolio includes the multifaceted position of Senior Vice President, Director of Retail Strategy in the Consumer Banking division, along with an extensive background in project management and mergers and acquisitions.

Beyond her professional commitments, Brubaker is active in community service. She serves on the Board of the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance, a watershed conservation organization operating in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Castle County, Delaware. Additionally, she volunteers for several organizations in the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region.

Born and raised in Lancaster County, PA, Brubaker currently resides in Bear, DE. Her extensive experience promises to bring a wealth of knowledge to the HR department.
