WILMINGTON, DE — InterDigital, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDCC) has announced significant changes to its leadership team, as Chief Licensing Officer Eeva Hakoranta steps down from her role effective April 4, 2025.
Hakoranta, who joined InterDigital in 2019, will remain with the company for the next three months as a Senior Advisor to assist with the transition of her responsibilities. During her tenure, she built a strong licensing team that contributed to the substantial growth of the company’s licensing programs.
“Eeva has built a world-class licensing team that has driven significant growth of our licensing programs and put us in a strong position to achieve our long-term goals,” said Liren Chen, InterDigital’s President and CEO. “I want to thank her for her support during this transition and wish her the best going forward.”
Taking on interim leadership of the Licensing team is Julia Mattis, a 15-year veteran of InterDigital who currently serves as Vice President of Licensing and Head of the Smartphone Licensing Program. The company has already commenced its search for Hakoranta’s permanent successor.
These leadership changes mark a pivotal moment for InterDigital as the company positions itself for continued success in its licensing initiatives.
