Lane Closures Set for Bridge Repair on Westbound I-295

MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming bridge repair work on westbound I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County. The repairs are scheduled to take place from Monday, February 24, through Thursday, February 27.

To facilitate the work, a single lane closure will be implemented nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning. The closure will affect westbound I-295 near the approach to U.S. Route 1.

PennDOT has advised motorists to expect delays and plan for additional travel time when passing through the affected area. Backups are anticipated, and drivers are encouraged to exercise caution. The scheduled activities remain weather dependent and subject to change.
