NORTHAMPTON TWP, PA — Ongoing road construction on Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in Northampton Township, Bucks County, will lead to weekday lane closures throughout May, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
From Thursday, May 1, through Friday, May 30, lane closures with flagging will occur between Tanyard Road and Upper Holland Road between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The work is part of a local safety improvement project focusing on slope restoration and utility installation.
Motorists are urged to plan for delays and allow additional travel time when driving through the area. Officials have noted that all construction activities are weather dependent.
The safety improvement initiative aims to enhance travel conditions and ensure long-term improvements along the Route 232 corridor.
