Lane Closures in Montgomery County for Resurfacing Work

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that resurfacing operations are scheduled next week in Montgomery County.

From Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28, a lane closure will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Stenton Avenue/Penllyn Blue Bell Pike between Joshua Road and Route 73 (Skippack Pike) in Whitpain and Whitemarsh townships for high friction surface treatment.

Additionally, from Tuesday, June 25, through Friday, June 28, a lane closure will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Barren Hill Road between Ridge Pike and Hector Road in Whitemarsh Township for similar treatment.

Motorists should plan for slowdowns and allow extra time when traveling through these areas. Traffic backups and delays will occur due to the lane closures. All scheduled activities depend on weather conditions.
