Lane Closures Announced for Traffic Camera Repairs on I-95 in Philadelphia

Traffic Advisory

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming repairs to traffic cameras on the southbound deck of the I-95 Girard Point Bridge. The work is scheduled to take place nightly from Sunday, February 23, through Saturday, March 15, between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM the following morning.

The affected stretch of I-95 runs between Route 611 (Broad Street) and Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) in Philadelphia. To facilitate the repairs, one lane will be closed during the designated hours.

Motorists traveling through the area are advised to plan for potential delays and allow additional travel time, as backups are expected. PennDOT has noted that all schedules are weather-dependent and subject to changes as necessary.
