Lane Closure Scheduled for Surveying Operations on Southbound I-95

Travel Restrictions

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced lane closures on southbound I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia next week to facilitate surveying operations.

The planned closures will occur on Tuesday, January 7, and Wednesday, January 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During these times, the left lane will be closed between the Aramingo Avenue and Columbus Boulevard interchanges.

Motorists should anticipate significant delays and avoid the area if possible. Travelers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their commutes. All scheduled work is weather dependent. PennDOT reminds drivers to approach the work zone with caution to ensure the safety of both workers and motorists.
