LANCASTER, PA — The holiday spirit is soaring to new heights at Clipper Magazine Stadium, home of the Lancaster Barnstormers. This year, the stadium is introducing a giant inflatable Santa that stands an impressive 42 feet tall, claiming the title of the tallest Santa in Pennsylvania.

The towering Santa surpasses the previous record holder by 4.5 feet. For years, the reigning tallest Santa has been a beloved fixture in Cold Stream Park in Philipsburg, located about 2.5 hours west of Lancaster. Now, Christmas enthusiasts will have to make a trip to Clipper Magazine Stadium to marvel at and snap photos with the state’s largest Santa.

The colossal inflatable Santa is situated in the Kreider Farms Kids’ Park and is visible from Harrisburg Pike. But the jolly giant is just one of the many holiday attractions at the stadium this season.

Visitors can also enjoy the Christmas Spirit Light Show presented by WellSpan Health, a unique and mesmerizing display of Christmas lights. Guests will drive through a mile-long track, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of color-changing lights that dance in sync with classic Christmas tunes. It’s a spectacle that promises to delight residents of Lancaster and the surrounding counties.

Additionally, guests can stroll along Christmas Tree Lane, a free event featuring 100 Christmas Trees sponsored by local businesses. Each tree represents support for local nonprofits, and they’re displayed along the first and third base concourses. Visitors to the stadium can vote for their favorite trees, with each vote serving as a donation directly to the corresponding nonprofit.

Undoubtedly, the Clipper Magazine Stadium has transformed into a festive wonderland this holiday season. With the largest Santa in the state and a plethora of other holiday activities on offer, it invites everyone to partake in the holiday cheer.
