LANCASTER, PA — Baseball fans and families alike are invited to join the Lancaster Stormers for their annual Fan Fest on Saturday, April 19, at Penn Medicine Park. Gates open at noon, and admission to this action-packed event is free. The day will feature a variety of activities for fans of all ages, capped off with a free Spring Training game against the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars at 1:00 PM.
Festivities kick off early with a Community Yard Sale from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, where attendees can browse a wide array of bargains. A Goodwill Donation Truck will also be available on-site to collect unsold items. At 10:30 AM, the Polar Bear Plunge Dunk Tank opens, offering participants a fun way to support over 15,000 Special Olympics Pennsylvania athletes.
The event will also feature the Solvit Academy Children’s Business Fair starting at 12:00 PM, where young entrepreneurs will showcase their creative ventures. The first 1,000 attendees will receive a complimentary 2025 magnet schedule, courtesy of Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.
Additional highlights include on-field activities, such as playing catch before the game and kids running the bases after the game, both presented by Domino’s. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet their favorite players and collect autographs, enjoy free access to the Kreider Farms Kids Park, and take advantage of special ticket promotions for the upcoming season.
Jennifer Andrus, a representative for the event, notes, “Fan Fest is our way of kicking off the season by celebrating both our fans and our community. It’s all about engaging with the team and offering something fun for everyone.”
Guests are encouraged to RSVP for organ donor registration at the Donate Life table, with participants receiving two free Stormers tickets for their generosity.
