LANCASTER, PA — The Lancaster Stormers are gearing up for an exciting start to the 2025 baseball season with their highly anticipated home opener at Penn Medicine Park on Friday, May 2. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., ahead of the first pitch scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Fans can look forward to an unforgettable evening brimming with entertainment as part of the WellSpan Health Fun Friday series.

The festivities will kick off with the official unveiling of the new Penn Medicine Park sign at 5:30 p.m. at the stadium’s main entrance. Early-arriving fans won’t leave empty-handed, as the first 1,000 attendees aged 18 and over will receive a complimentary T-shirt, courtesy of Hess’s Barbecue.

After the game, the excitement continues with a post-game fireworks show presented by Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, lighting up the sky over Penn Medicine Park. Young attendees can also get in on the action with “Kids Run the Bases,” an opportunity to dash around the diamond sponsored by Domino’s Pizza.

Adding to the evening’s appeal, live music from the band 7Hrs Ahead will keep the energy high following the game. Fans can enjoy the performance, along with extended beer specials, at the Broken Bat Craft Beer Deck, thanks to South County Brewing Company.

With baseball action on the field and entertainment off it, families and fans of all ages are invited to come out and cheer on the Stormers as they kick off what promises to be another exciting season.
