LANCASTER, PA — The Lancaster Stormers have bolstered their roster with the signing of first baseman Mason Martin, utility player Nick Lucky, and outfielder LeDarious Clark, manager Ross Peeples announced this week. These additions bring the team’s roster to 26 players as they prepare for the season opener on April 25 against Long Island.

Martin, 25, returns to the Stormers after a dominant showing in the second half of 2024. The left-handed slugger batted .318 with 27 home runs and 73 RBIs in just 66 games, setting a franchise record with four grand slams in a single season. An instrumental figure in the Stormers’ title chase last year, Martin has 154 career minor league home runs to his name. “Martin brings a lot of value to our team,” said Peeples. “He had a big year for us and will fit right in the middle of our lineup.”

Lucky, also 25, rejoined Lancaster after starting the 2024 season with the team and later being signed by the Minnesota Twins. While with the Stormers, Lucky hit .281 with three home runs and showcased his versatility by playing both infield and outfield positions. Peeples praised his athleticism, noting, “He is a great asset to have on the team because he can do so many things.”

Clark, 31, returns after recovering from a significant injury sustained in July 2022. Known for his power and speed, Clark previously hit 31 home runs and stole 52 bases during his 1 ½ seasons with the Stormers. Peeples expressed optimism about his return, stating, “Hopefully, it will just take him some reps to get back to that form.”
