BLUE BELL, PA — KenCrest has announced the appointment of Aurora Kripa as its next President and CEO, following the upcoming retirement of Marian Baldini in December. Baldini has led the organization since 2015, leaving behind a legacy of inclusion, innovation, and tireless advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
Leadership Transition
The KenCrest Board of Directors expressed its gratitude for Baldini’s transformational leadership during her tenure. Scott McCloskey, Board President, stated, “Marian’s contributions have been extraordinary, and her guidance has solidified KenCrest’s reputation for quality and service. Aurora’s leadership will build on that foundation as we look to the future.”
Baldini, an award-winning leader with 48 years of experience in the field, has been recognized for her advocacy and efforts to eliminate segregated programs for adults with disabilities. Her numerous accolades include recognition from the Philadelphia Business Journal and Main Line Today, as well as a forthcoming induction into the ANCOR Foundation Legacy Leaders Hall of Fame.
A New Vision with Aurora Kripa
Kripa joined KenCrest in 2018 as a consultant and quickly rose through the ranks, serving as Chief Human Resources Officer in 2019 and then Chief Operating Officer. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience in human services leadership, including her role as the first CEO of JEVS at Home, Kripa is well-prepared to take on this new challenge. At JEVS, she successfully scaled operations to serve 900 individuals and generate $32 million in revenue within six months.
At KenCrest, Kripa has driven operational performance and innovation, earning a reputation as a results-oriented leader skilled at tackling complex challenges. She holds dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Italian from Temple University, an MBA from LaSalle University, and an MPA from the University of Pennsylvania. Fluent in three languages, her leadership has been recognized with honors such as Billy Penn’s “Who’s Next in Public Service” award and SmartCEO’s Future 50 Award.
A Shared Mission
Reflecting on her new role, Kripa stated, “KenCrest has been transforming lives and communities for over a century. I am honored to follow Marian’s incredible legacy and to lead this organization with purpose, ensuring that our mission remains central to everything we do.”
Baldini added, “Aurora has the vision and determination to inspire our team and continue KenCrest’s impact. I am excited to pass the leadership torch to someone so capable and passionate.”
Summary
Aurora Kripa’s appointment marks a significant leadership transition for KenCrest, an organization with a 120-year history of service. With her proven expertise and dedication, Kripa is poised to steer KenCrest into its next phase of growth and innovation.
