LANCASTER, PA — The Speak Foundation is set to host the fourth International Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD) Conference on July 18, 2025, at the J.W. Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. This key event will bring together patients, caregivers, researchers, physicians, and advocacy groups to exchange knowledge, foster connections, and spotlight developments in LGMD research and care.
The conference will feature updates on diagnostic advancements, drug development, and clinical trials aimed at addressing multiple forms of LGMD. Breakout sessions will provide peer-to-peer advice, disease management strategies, and resources to promote advocacy and independent living for those affected.
