PHILADELPHIA, PA — Insomnia Cookies has marked a major milestone with the opening of its 300th bakery, underscoring its dedication to satisfying late-night cravings worldwide. With locations spanning the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., the company continues to expand its reach to more cookie enthusiasts.

The year 2024 is set to be a record-breaking year for Insomnia Cookies, with 55 new bakery openings anticipated, exceeding any previous annual expansion. This growth is highlighted by the launch of their global headquarters, the “Imagine What’s Possible Center” and Flagship Bakery, further cementing their status as a leader in the late-night snack industry.

The company’s expansion extends to transit centers, with a new bakery in New York’s Penn Station and an upcoming site in Washington D.C.’s Union Station. Internationally, Insomnia Cookies ventured into Canada and the U.K. in 2023, with additional locations planned for the fall.

Fuelled by a strategic partnership with Verlinvest and Mistral Equity Partners, Insomnia Cookies aims to significantly increase its footprint, planning over 1,800 new U.S. bakeries in the next decade.

Reflecting on this achievement, Seth Berkowitz, CEO and Founder, expressed gratitude to the community of loyal customers and employees, saying, “Our first store opened in 2003, and as we celebrate our 21st birthday this October, I’m so grateful to our community of Insomniacs that has grown beyond my wildest dreams.” Berkowitz emphasized the company’s continuous drive for innovation and its commitment to creating connections through their beloved cookie creations.

With its ambitious expansion plans, Insomnia Cookies is poised to bring its warm, creative treats to even more corners of the globe, promising to meet the insatiable demand of its devoted followers.
