SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge inspections are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 and other state highways in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties.
The work schedules and locations are:
Philadelphia
- Friday, November 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Interstate76/Valley Forge and the Route 611 (Broad Street) interchanges.
Montgomery County
- Monday, November 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 29 (Bridge Street) between Starr Street and Walnut Street in Phoenixville Borough, Chester County and Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County;
- Wednesday, November 15, from midnight to 4:00 AM, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) and Main Street in Upper Merion Township, Bridgeport Borough, and Norristown; and
- Thursday, November 16, from midnight to 4:00 AM, alternating left lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Interstate 476 between the I-76 and the Norristown interchanges in West Conshohocken Borough and Plymouth Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
