RADNOR, PA — Hidden River Strategic Capital has announced its investment in Restoration Alliance, a regional provider in the ServiceMaster Restore franchise system. With support from Taurus Capital Partners, the deal recapitalizes the business and secures funding to fuel its expansion from a regional leader to a key national player in the disaster restoration industry.
Based in the Seattle-Tacoma area and operating under the name ServiceMaster of Tacoma, Restoration Alliance specializes in disaster recovery services for residential and commercial customers. Its services include water mitigation, fire and smoke damage restoration, and contents cleaning and storage.
For over 30 years, the Sorenson family has guided Restoration Alliance, building a reputation for excellent service and operational expertise. CEO Jeff Sorenson will continue to lead the company while spearheading new growth initiatives made possible by the partnership.
“This approach is markedly different – and rather refreshing – compared to alternative private equity options,” said Sorenson. “The collaborative and relationship-driven model of Hidden River and Taurus Capital Partners was key as I sought partners who would value and respect what we’ve built while helping us achieve our next chapter of growth.”
Hidden River’s investment reflects its founder-friendly strategy. By collaborating with existing leadership, the firm aims to amplify the company’s strengths while driving strategic acquisitions and organic expansion.
Kevin Condon, Co-Founder and Partner at Hidden River, affirmed this vision. “Jeff and his team have built a great business with a reputation rooted in high-quality service and operational excellence,” he said. “We’re thrilled to partner with Jeff and Taurus as we grow the business together.”
The partnership signals an ambitious roadmap for Restoration Alliance, one that prioritizes both continuity and innovation. With its well-established foundation and new investment resources, the company is well-positioned to address the evolving needs of the disaster restoration industry while expanding its footprint across the nation.
