HORSHAM, PA — Aegis Software has announced that HEITEC’s Elektronik division, a leading German manufacturer of complex electronic solutions, is broadening its implementation of the FactoryLogix® MES platform to cover additional products. Following the success of its initial deployment in 2021, HEITEC aims to further boost production efficiency, increase automation, and advance data-driven decision-making across its operations.
Since adopting the IIoT-enabled FactoryLogix platform, HEITEC has fully digitized its manufacturing processes, eliminating inefficiencies tied to traditional paper-based systems. The platform has provided comprehensive traceability, enabling control from material logistics to “as-built” final assembly records. This capability has been instrumental in meeting stringent ISO certification standards and gaining a competitive edge.
With the latest expansion, HEITEC plans to enhance operational visibility through expanded quality reporting and in-depth analysis of factory key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, the company is accelerating shop floor automation efforts to improve capacity, drive continuous improvements, and support long-term growth initiatives.
