Gwynedd Mercy University Names Jennifer Ginnetti Vice President and CFO

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA — Gwynedd Mercy University (GMercyU) has officially appointed Jennifer Ginnetti, MBA, CPA, as Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Having served as interim CFO since December, Ginnetti now assumes the role permanently, bringing over 25 years of financial experience, including 14 years in the private sector.

A member of the GMercyU community since 2014, Ginnetti has held several senior roles, including Controller and Senior Associate Vice President for Finance and Deputy CFO. During her tenure, she has driven strategic financial initiatives and overseen major projects, including campus renovations, dining upgrades, and sports facility improvements. She remains central to the launch of the Frances M. Maguire ’55 Healthcare Innovation Center, set to open this fall.

D’Emilio, JD, President of GMercyU. “Her deep understanding of our University’s finances and her dedication to our Mercy mission make her the right choice as we continue to grow and innovate.”

Ginnetti expressed excitement about her new role, stating, “I am honored to lead the finance and administration teams at GMercyU. With an MBA in Corporate Finance from Lehigh University, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola University in Maryland, and CPA certification, Ginnetti brings a strong academic foundation to her position.

Looking ahead, Ginnetti’s vision and financial leadership are set to guide the university through its next phase of growth, ensuring fiscal sustainability and continued alignment with its mission to provide a transformative education.
