WILMINGTON, DE — International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP has announced the addition of Gregory W. Werkheiser as Of Counsel in its Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring group, serving clients in Delaware and New York. Werkheiser brings over 25 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency litigation, bolstering the group’s capabilities in handling complex financial cases.
Before joining Dorsey, Werkheiser worked as a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Commercial Litigation Branch. His private practice experience includes representing distressed companies, lenders, and creditors across various industries, from healthcare to manufacturing and retail. He has appeared in federal courts nationwide, advising clients on intricate bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters. Werkheiser holds a J.D. from Widener University, Delaware Law School, and a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.
