Fulton Bank Forms New Capital Markets Team to Support Growth

Fulton Bank

LANCASTER, PA — Fulton Bank has announced the creation of a new Capital Markets team, aimed at enhancing its support for clients as they expand their businesses. The initiative will be led by Christopher Bigos, who has been named Head of Capital Markets.

This new program is designed to deepen Fulton’s relationships with capital markets providers, allowing the bank to better manage syndications and derivatives while increasing its credit capacity. “As our clients continue to grow, we want to be there to provide the solutions they need,” said John Glover, Head of Commercial Banking. “This new program will allow us to deepen existing relationships with capital markets providers and better manage syndications and derivatives for our customers, expanding our credit capacity. I’m confident Chris is the right person to lead this effort.”

Bigos will oversee a range of services, including commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate (CRE) syndications, customer interest rate hedging, and CRE capital markets. His role involves setting the strategy and executing plans to grow these vital areas while advancing Fulton’s capabilities in the CRE capital markets segment.

With nearly 20 years of commercial banking experience, Bigos brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. Starting his career at Fulton as a management trainee and credit analyst, he later advanced to relationship manager. After gaining expertise in CRE debt and equity placement during a stint at HFF, Inc., Bigos returned to Fulton in 2015. He most recently served as senior vice president in Commercial Real Estate, further demonstrating his leadership and expertise in the field.
