The platform provides a turnkey infrastructure allowing firms to launch investment products without building back-end systems from scratch.
Rob Miller, CEO of Frontier Asset Management, described the launch as a response to shifting investor needs. “Our newly launched suite of active ETFs showcases our dedication to aligning with the ever-changing preferences of investors and delivering our manager research capabilities through tax-efficient, structurally sound investment vehicles,” Miller said. He emphasized the value of SEI’s platform to Frontier’s strategy, citing its end-to-end infrastructure and expertise in ETFs.
John Alshefski, Senior Vice President and Head of SEI’s Traditional Investment Managers business, welcomed Frontier to the platform. “We applaud their vision for using ETFs to enhance their client experience and broaden access,” Alshefski said. “Frontier has achieved impressive growth and success as a manager, and we’re committed to supporting their continued success as an ETF issuer.”
SEI’s AIC platform, which originally pioneered the series trust concept, now oversees more than $100 billion in assets across 121 funds. By providing cost-effective solutions, SEI has established itself as a key partner for managers navigating the evolving landscape of investment vehicles.
Frontier’s expansion into active ETFs underscores the growing trend among asset managers to deliver innovative, flexible, and tax-efficient investment options to meet rising investor demand.
