DOYLESTOWN, PA — For the sixth year in a row, the Fred Beans Automotive Group has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in the Greater Philadelphia Region. This year, the company is one of only six “extra-large” organizations, those with over 500 employees, to make the list, placing second in the category.

“We continue to strive for this recognition because we know how important attracting and retaining the best people is to our success, especially when it comes to providing exceptional customer service,” said Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of Fred Beans Automotive Group. “As a ‘best place to work,’ we receive validation that our efforts to maintain a strong team are effective. We also get important feedback to help us respond to changing employee needs and interests to remain a first-choice employer.”

The honor is based entirely on employee feedback. The Philadelphia Business Journal and Quantum Workplace compile the list annually through an employee survey. Questions cover work environment, support of personal growth, benefits, and trust in senior leadership.

“We have built a unique culture in the automotive world where we support each employee’s personal and professional growth,” said Gilbert. “We don’t want people to come to us for a job; we want them to join us to build a career, and that requires us to provide them with support to learn and take on new challenges.”

Fred Beans offers a Healthy Living Program, which lets employees set their own health goals. “We offer programs and resources to help employees with mental and physical health, including 24-hour access to licensed clinicians through our partner, SupportLinc, onsite fitness challenges, and appointments with me to build individualized fitness and nutrition plans,” said Fred Beans Wellness Coordinator Andrea Volm. “The accessibility of these offerings and the fact that so many people are taking advantage of them at the same time encourage employees to focus on their health and remain accountable when they set wellness goals.”
