VILLANOVA, PA — The enchantment of Paris was brought to life in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, November 9, for the ‘Evening of Hope – C’est la fête’ event. Organized by Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pennsylvania, the gala attracted nearly 300 attendees and raised almost $300,000 to support individuals with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive differences.

Held at the historic Normandy Farm, the Parisian-themed event generated crucial funds to benefit Devereux’s services in southeastern Pennsylvania. Guests enjoyed a night filled with French elegance, complete with specially crafted food and drinks prepared by Normandy Farm’s culinary team.

“We are immensely grateful to our donors, friends, and supporters for their generosity,” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “This year’s ‘Evening of Hope’ truly lived up to its theme, ‘C’est la fête,’ translating to ‘It’s a party.’ We celebrated the remarkable achievements of the youth and adults we serve. Our community partners’ unwavering commitment allows us to continue making a profound difference in numerous lives.”

The event featured unforgettable experiences, including live and silent auctions of extravagant items. Attendees had the opportunity to bid on a trip to Paris, an African safari, a shore experience in Avalon, New Jersey, a Philadelphia sports ticket package, and more.

As the band Fiji, provided by EBE Events and Entertainment, played, guests danced the night away in celebration of the transformative work Devereux does for those they serve.

The overwhelming success of the ‘Evening of Hope – C’est la fête’ event underscores the community’s commitment to supporting Devereux’s mission. The funds raised will directly impact the lives of many, underlining the importance of such events in supporting the organization’s essential work.
