Taking place three weeks before Thanksgiving, the event promises an impressive lineup with no shortage of high-quality items. Collectors can expect a diverse range of offerings reminiscent of classic toy events.

Anchoring the auction are two prominent collections: a comprehensive assemblage of Popeye toys curated over 35 years by retired professor and author Mark Kuster, and a North Carolina collection of Elvis Presley memorabilia that is sure to captivate fans.

Kuster’s Popeye collection features approximately 72 toys, many with original boxes and rare color variations. Highlights include a battery-operated Popeye and Olive Oyl Tank, a scarce Hoge tin speedboat, and a Linemar Popeye Aeroplane. These toys represent some of the finest examples available and are highly sought after by collectors.

The Elvis Presley memorabilia, fresh to the market, includes autographed items and rare sets of cards from 1956-1978, valued between $10,000-$20,000. Additional items include Graceland mementos, fan club collectibles, and a variety of records and photographs.

Sports card collectors will find a selection featuring sealed packs and rare cards, including a 1914 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb card expected to fetch over $20,000. Other notable items include a 1973 Topps cello pack with a Mike Schmidt rookie card and a Nolan Ryan card.

For those interested in mechanical banks, over 100 cast-iron pieces, including rare variants, will be available. Collectors of pressed-steel trucks and trains can look forward to items from brands like Buddy ‘L’ and Lionel, as well as German-made tin-litho cars and Schuco models from the 1950s.
