Enovis Expands EMPOWR Revision Knee System with New Cones

Enovis Corporation

WILMINGTON, DE — Enovis™ (NYSE: ENOV) has announced the expansion of its EMPOWR Revision Knee™ system to include EMPOWR™ Cones. These stackable tibial, femoral, and diaphyseal cones provide additional options for treating bone defects in complex revision surgeries. The FDA approved the use of these cones with the EMPOWR Revision Knee™ system earlier this year.

The EMPOWR Revision Knee™ system aims to simplify revision knee arthroplasty by reducing operating room clutter and allowing for precise implant fitting tailored to each patient. The system’s stackable augments can be used both medially and laterally, minimizing excess inventory.

Louie Vogt, Group President of Enovis’ Reconstructive Business Group, stated, “The introduction of the EMPOWR Revision Knee fills a current market need for more efficient revision options, especially with growing interest in outpatient revision knee procedures. Now with the addition of the EMPOWR Cones, surgeons are better able to tailor revision surgeries with a modernized workflow and no decision fatigue.”

Dr. Leonard T. Buller of Indiana University Health commented, “With the addition of the EMPOWR Cones, I now have the added flexibility to help more patients with their knee revision needs. The cones were easy to ream, fit as planned, and the dimensions are ideal for accommodating the widest spectrum of implants.”

Dr. Beau J. Kildow from the University of Nebraska Medical Center added, “It went very smooth. Even the femoral cone prep was simple, more so than the leading competitive brand and sat line to line.”

The new EMPOWR™ Cones enhance the versatility and efficiency of the EMPOWR Revision Knee™ system, supporting surgeons in delivering better patient outcomes.
