Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day Returns to Spread Joy and Raise Funds for Children’s Hospitals

Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation

PHILADELPHIA, PADunkin’, America’s beloved coffee chain, is bringing back Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day on Thursday, June 20th, marking the first day of summer. On this special day, $1 from every iced coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ locations will be donated to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, transforming each refreshing sip into a gesture of goodwill.

In the lead-up to Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day, the Dunkin’ Philadelphia Community Cruiser made heartwarming visits to Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper, Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware, and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Patients and staff enjoyed samples of Dunkin’s Blueberry Donut Iced Coffee and Kiwi Watermelon Refresher. Additionally, the Foundation hosted a “Painting with Joy” event at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware, where young patients expressed their creativity through art therapy, painting their favorite Dunkin’ donuts or working on paint-by-number canvases.

For nearly two decades, the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation has brought joy to children battling hunger or illness. Every dollar raised on Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day supports grants for local children’s hospitals, helping them expand their programs. “Dunkin’ and the Joy in Childhood Foundation are once again calling on America to sip Iced Coffee for a great cause,” said Jamie Struwe, Dunkin’s Senior Field Marketing Manager. “As millions of children nationwide fight illnesses that no child should endure, we’re deeply honored to bring a bit of joy to them and their loving families.”

In the past two years, Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day has raised over $3.5 million, funding nearly 200 grants for child life programs at hospitals nationwide. These grants support a range of activities, including art, music, and gaming, as well as integrated therapy programs like the Dogs for Joy initiative. The Foundation also funds interactive play and learning equipment, adaptive tools for kids with mobility issues, essential kits for patients, wall murals, milestone celebrations, and more.

This year’s Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day marks a significant milestone for the Foundation: surpassing $50 million in grants since its inception in 2006. The mission remains clear—to provide the simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger or illness by supporting impactful programs in communities across the country.

Join Dunkin’ on June 20th to make a difference with every iced coffee purchase. Your support will help bring smiles and comfort to children and families who need it most.
