PHILADELPHIA, PADMi Partners announced its recognition with two 2025 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards from the Web Marketing Association. The accolades, for Best Food Industry Email Message Campaign and Best Consumer Goods Email Message Campaign, underscore the company’s expertise in performance-driven digital marketing.

The winning entry, “Applegate and DMi Partners: Flexing a Viral Influencer Campaign into Meaty Email Growth,” showcased DMi’s work with Applegate, the leading natural and organic meat brand. The collaboration began in 2023 to resolve Applegate’s email deliverability challenges, which had suppressed open rates to 18.4% due to Gmail restrictions. By rebuilding sender reputation and targeting engaged users, DMi achieved a 99% deliverability rate.

Building on this success, DMi launched a campaign in January 2024 centered around Applegate’s Meathead initiative, featuring influencer Tyler Cameron. The campaign delivered impressive results, including a 70.2% open rate, 28.5% above average, and click-through rates exceeding benchmarks by 25%.

“We’re proud to see our work with Applegate recognized by the Web Marketing Association,” said Patrick McKenna, CEO and Founder of DMi Partners. “This campaign is a perfect example of how powerful creative, combined with strategic timing and data-driven targeting, can transform a cultural moment into sustained brand engagement.”

Applegate’s Vice President of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing, Rob O’Donnell, reflected on the campaign’s broader impact, stating, “Partnering with DMi allowed us to take a viral cultural moment and extend its reach in a meaningful and measurable way. This campaign is a great example of how creativity and performance can work hand in hand.”

The campaign’s success highlights the synergy between DMi Partners and Applegate, demonstrating how strategic collaboration and innovation can drive measurable results in the competitive digital marketing landscape.
