MEDIA, PA — The arts are reawakening in Delco, and the Delaware County Arts Consortium is inviting the public to experience every facet over eight days during the third annual Delco Arts Week, Saturday, October 2 through Saturday, October 9. Delaware County will host more than 60 events—including many free to the public—from concerts, film, and dance, to exhibitions, festivals, theater, kids’ activities and more.

Visitors and Delaware County residents alike will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of events for people of all ages as Delco artists and performers share their talents and love of the arts. “The arts and culture sector in Delco has never been more vital and is set to reemerge stronger than ever from the pandemic,” says Eric Thompson, Executive Director of Darlington Arts Center and Consortium member, who is on the steering committee for Delco Arts Week. “Delco Arts Week is a celebration of the return of the arts. We welcome all to experience something truly amazing and tap into your creative side with your community. There is something for everyone, each day of the week, all across the county.”

Delco Arts Week is presented by the Delaware County Arts Consortium and the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. The Delaware County Arts Consortium is a collaborative of more than 80 cultural organizations working to advance the economic vitality of the nonprofit arts and culture community, as well as promote the value of cultural resources to the local community.
