Delaware State Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Pat’s Pizza in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DE — The Delaware State Police are investigating an alleged armed robbery that took place on Sunday night at Pat’s Pizza, located on Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington.

At approximately 10:12 p.m. on March 10, 2024, troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the popular pizza joint. An unknown male suspect, reportedly armed with a handgun, is said to have approached an employee as he was closing up for the night. The suspect allegedly demanded money from the business, which the employee handed over. The individual then fled on foot, heading southbound on Philadelphia Pike with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect has been described as a black male dressed in dark clothing and a mask. At this time, there are no surveillance video or images available to further identify the suspect.

The investigation is still ongoing, led by the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit. Detectives are appealing to the public for information that may assist in their inquiries.
