On Saturday, January 13, the Thistledown Fiber Arts Guild will showcase various historic handcrafts, including spinning, weaving, and knitting. In this informative session, attendees can learn about primary sources, legislation, and resources that have shaped Delaware’s rich African-American history. The presentation will start at 1:00 PM and admission is free.
Moreover, also at the Old State House Museum, music lovers are in for a treat as the Friends of Folk Concert takes center stage on Friday, January 12. The concert features Red Birds, an indie-folk trio from Elkton, Maryland, known for their captivating melodies and harmonies.
