Daytime Lane Closure on I-95 in Center City to Cause Delays

Road work

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that a daytime lane closure will take place next week on northbound Interstate 95 in Center City Philadelphia. This is part of the $329 million CAP project.

On Tuesday, June 11, and Wednesday, June 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be closed between the Columbus Boulevard on-ramp and the I-676 off-ramp. Crews will install barrier-mounted delineators during this time.

Drivers should allow extra time for travel through the affected area. Significant backups and delays are expected. All work is weather dependent.
