Traffic, flagging

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Crack sealing is scheduled on U.S. 13 in Upper Darby and Ridley townships, and Yeadon, Darby, Sharon Hill, Glenolden, Norwood, Prospect Park, Ridley Park, Eddystone boroughs, and City of Chester, Delaware County, under a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) project applying crack sealing on various state highways in Delaware and Philadelphia counties.

Starting today, October 21, through late October, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, an alternating moving lane closure is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 13 (2nd Street/Industrial Highway/Morton Avenue/Chester Pike/MacDade Boulevard/Church Lane/Baltimore Avenue) between Booth Street and The Philadelphia County line.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Scodeller Construction, Inc. of Wixom, MI, is the general contractor on this $3.3 million project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
