Comcast Expands High-Speed Internet to Greater Phillipsburg Area

Comcast

TREVOSE, PA — Comcast has announced the rollout of its high-speed Internet network to the first homes and businesses in Lopatcong and Greenwich, NJ, as part of a significant expansion in the Greater Phillipsburg area. This initiative will ultimately connect more than 15,700 homes and businesses, providing access to Xfinity and Comcast Business services, including Internet, mobile, entertainment, and security solutions.

The network expansion aims to bolster digital infrastructure across the region, fostering economic growth and equipping residents and businesses with the tools needed to thrive in the digital economy.

“Comcast’s investment in Greater Phillipsburg will give residents and businesses access to a reliable Internet and mobile provider with proven dedication to the communities it serves,” said New Jersey Assemblyman John DiMaio. “Investments in our digital infrastructure are just as important as our physical infrastructure in today’s tech-centric economy.”

Residents in the newly connected areas can check their service status or timeline by visiting Xfinity.com/mytown. For in-person assistance, the Xfinity Store at 155 Port Murray Road, Port Murray, is available to showcase products and services. Construction will continue to expand access throughout Phillipsburg, Alpha, and Pohatcong in the coming months, with additional addresses becoming connected on a rolling basis.

This expansion builds on Comcast’s commitment to strengthening New Jersey’s connectivity. Over the past three years, the company has linked 68,000 more homes and businesses across the state to its services, with plans for continued investments in 2025 and beyond.

“We are committed to investing in and expanding our network to ensure that more residents and businesses in New Jersey have a choice in their Internet provider,” said Dan Bonelli, Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Freedom Region. “Our network delivers a world-class experience within and outside the home, and our dedicated team of local experts are excited to help connect Greater Phillipsburg area residents to what matters most.”
