KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — CluePoints has announced the appointment of Richard Young as Chief Strategy Officer. With three decades of expertise in clinical data management, Young brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Young’s career includes significant positions at Medidata, Cmed Group, and PAREXEL International. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Strategy for Clinical Data at Veeva Systems. His leadership in the field is further highlighted by his role as Conference Committee Leader for the SCDM Annual Conference and his current position leading their innovations committee.
Andy Cooper, CEO of CluePoints, expressed confidence in Young’s ability to contribute to the company’s growth. “At CluePoints, we are committed to innovation and turning data into positive outcomes in clinical trials. Richard has extensive experience in clinical data management and data review, and is a well-regarded expert in his field,” Cooper stated. Cooper added that Young will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of CluePoints’ product portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer needs and maintaining the company’s leadership in RBQM. “Richard will drive the strategy for our product portfolio, ensuring the value of our products is aligned with our customers’ needs and we are planning, not just for what is needed this year, but what is needed in five years’ time. He will ensure we remain a leader in RBQM while also establishing ourselves as the market leader for integrated AI-driven SaaS solutions to analyze and interrogate clinical trial data,” Cooper concluded.
