The appointment, effective January 8, 2024, signals a strategic move to bolster the company’s commercial operations and customer experience.
This newly minted role will see Peterson overseeing all aspects of Clean Earth’s commercial strategy, sales initiatives, and sales operations. She will also be at the helm of commercial teams across Clean Earth’s Hazardous Waste and Soil and Dredge Material lines of business, marking a significant step in consolidating the firm’s leadership.
Peterson’s appointment comes on the back of an illustrious career spanning over three decades in the environmental services sector. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President at Badger Infrastructure Solutions, a top-tier hydro-excavation provider in North America. Here, her wide-ranging responsibilities included managing sales, operations, safety, and customer service functions across four key regions and a network of more than 140 service centers.
Prior to her tenure at Badger Infrastructure Solutions, Peterson spent over two decades at Clean Harbors, where she held several pivotal leadership roles. As Senior Vice President of the East Region and Vice President of US Industrial Services, she played a crucial part in successfully integrating more than 15 acquisitions. Her strategic vision and commercial acumen helped manage revenues exceeding $750 million, marking significant milestones in her career.
