PHILADELPHIA, PA — Riding the wave of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory, Yards Brewing Company has launched Trash Talk IPA, a bold new beer that pays homage to Philly’s spirited sports culture. The limited-edition brew will debut Thursday, February 13, at Yards’ taproom and will be a centerpiece of Friday’s post-parade celebrations.
Trash Talk IPA is a 6.5% ABV creation designed to embody the grit and energy of Philadelphia’s legendary sports fans. Packed with vibrant tropical notes, including pineapple, the beer strikes a balance with a crisp, refreshing finish that perfectly matches the passion of the city it represents. Yards Co-Founder Tom Kehoe described the beer as a reflection of Philadelphia’s heartbeat.
“Trash Talk IPA is a beer made for this city, built on its determination, passion, and love for the game,” Kehoe said. “There’s no better time to launch it than right now, as we celebrate the Birds’ incredible win. It’s the perfect companion for moments like the Super Bowl parade, when Philly shows the world exactly who we are. Raise a can to our city, our team, and our time.”
To mark the Eagles’ championship, Yards Brewing is releasing just 100 cases of Trash Talk IPA in four-packs of 12 oz. cans, priced at $8.99. The beer will be available starting Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Yards’ taproom on 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. For those joining Friday’s lively post-parade party, Yards will reserve at least 10 cases for happy hour revelers from 3 to 6 p.m. Fans can enjoy food and drink specials, including $6 select beers and snacks such as cheesesteak egg rolls and Philly Wing Pounders.
While this week offers a rare chance to grab Trash Talk IPA early, fans who miss out can hold onto their excitement as the beer will transition to a year-round offering in stores beginning this April.
With Trash Talk IPA, Yards Brewing has captured the spirit of a city that never stops cheering, determined to bring a taste of Philly pride to beer fans everywhere.
