PHILADELPHIA, PA — As Valentine’s Day approaches, Philadelphia’s iconic LOVE Park is the perfect backdrop for romance. Home to the celebrated LOVE sculpture, the park invites everyone to celebrate love in its many forms this February 14, 2024.
Whether you’re planning to snap a romantic selfie, renew your wedding vows, or even say “I do”, there’s no place quite like LOVE Park to make your Valentine’s Day unforgettable.
This year, the park is hosting the return of the popular Wedding Wednesdays, an initiative by Parks & Rec that allows couples to get married in front of the iconic LOVE sculpture. As part of the Valentine’s Day kickoff, eight lucky couples will have the opportunity to marry or renew their vows at the LOVE sculpture. The half-hour ceremonies will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with time slots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you’re not ready to tie the knot this Valentine’s Day, don’t fret! Wedding Wednesdays continue throughout the year, every Wednesday from March to early November. You can reserve a timeslot for 2024 beginning at 12 p.m. on Valentine’s Day itself.
The celebration continues with a flurry of Valentine’s Day events in LOVE Park:
Kicking off at 10:00 a.m., Wedding Wednesday offers the perfect setting for couples to exchange vows with the iconic LOVE sculpture as their backdrop. A truly unforgettable start to your special day!
