NORTH EAST, MD — Cecil College has announced the students who have achieved the academic distinction of being named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2024 semester. This prestigious recognition is awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance.
The Dean’s List includes 13 students from Chester County, Pennsylvania. To earn this honor, full-time students must have completed at least 12 credit hours with a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 to 3.74 out of a possible 4.00. Part-time students qualify after accumulating 15 credit hours or more with the same GPA range. The award does not consider grades from developmental coursework.
Cecil College serves a diverse student body from its campuses in North East and Elkton, Maryland. The institution enrolls approximately 2,200 credit students and 2,300 non-credit students. It offers various associate degrees, certificate programs, and non-credit classes aimed at enriching educational opportunities for all.
