NEWTOWN, PA — Catalyx has announced the appointment of Sigmund Aaro as senior vice president of business development for North America. Aaro brings over 25 years of leadership experience in industrial automation and manufacturing, with a strong track record in driving growth through technical and business solutions.

Prior to joining Catalyx, Aaro served as general manager for North America at Process Automation Solutions, a division of ATS. There, he led business operations and spearheaded digital transformation initiatives in sectors such as life sciences, food and beverage, specialty chemicals, and mission-critical systems. His experience also extends to advanced technologies, including robotics, AI, cloud-based process modeling, and hybrid industrial automation solutions, and he has held leadership positions at Emerson Automation Solutions, Domino Printing Services PLC, and Kameleon Group.
Aaro’s multinational experience across North America and Europe has shaped his global perspective on operational strategies and sales leadership.
