PHILADELPHIA, PA — Carpenter Technology Corporation (NYSE: CRS) has announced the appointment of Julie A. Beck to its Board of Directors, effective February 20, 2025. The addition of Ms. Beck expands the board to 12 members, 11 of whom are independent directors.
Ms. Beck brings over 30 years of leadership experience in finance and manufacturing to her new role. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Terex Corporation, a global leader in materials processing machinery and aerial work platforms. Prior to Terex, she held the role of CFO at NOVA Chemicals and served as Global Vice President of Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, and Quality at Joy Global, Inc., where she also acted as CFO for its Joy Mining Machinery subsidiary. Earlier in her career, Ms. Beck held financial leadership roles at the Journal Register Company and Norwood Promotional Products, Inc., and she began her professional career with Deloitte.
In addition to her executive achievements, Ms. Beck has significant board experience, having served on the Audit Committees of multiple public and nonprofit organizations.
