BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a series of maintenance activities in Bucks County, prompting several road closures and detours over the coming weeks. These efforts are part of ongoing infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing roadway safety and reliability.
From Tuesday, October 8, through Friday, October 11, Greenhill Road will be closed for pipe replacement in Solebury Township. Motorists are advised to follow the detour via Mechanicsville and Sugan Roads. Additionally, Route 32 (River Road) will experience weekday closures from October 9 to October 16 in Tinicum and Plumstead townships for mechanical patching, with detours directed along Dark Hollow Road, Route 413, and Point Pleasant Pike.
Further closures on Route 32 are scheduled for October 17 and 18 between Point Pleasant Pike and Greenhill Road. Local access will remain available, but travelers should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.
