Bucks County Commuters to Face Resurfacing Delays

Road work - traffic alert

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced impending resurfacing operations in Bucks County, poised to affect travel in Upper Makefield and Bensalem townships.

Scheduled to commence on Monday, September 16, and continuing through Thursday, September 26, a weekday lane closure with flagging will be implemented on George Washington Memorial Boulevard between Route 32 (River Road) and the Washington Crossing Bridge. Additionally, from September 16 through Friday, October 4, similar lane closures will be in effect on Richlieu Road between Route 132 (Street Road) and Bristol Road.

These operations are essential for road enhancement but will inevitably result in travel delays. Commuters are urged to allocate additional travel time and remain informed about potential schedule changes due to weather.
