Bucks County Celebrates a Million-Dollar Mega Millions® Win!

Pennsylvania Lottery

LANGHORNE, PA — A Wawa store in Langhorne, Bucks County, has sold a Mega Millions® ticket worth a whopping $1 million. The winning ticket from the drawing on Friday, April 5, matched all five white balls – 20, 30, 54, 63, 65 – securing the seven-figure prize for one fortunate player. However, the ticket fell short of hitting the yellow Mega Ball 14, which would have clinched the jackpot.

The lucky retailer located at 639 East Lincoln Highway is set to receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the million-dollar ticket. This win places a spotlight on the Wawa store, celebrating the significant role lottery retailers play in the lives of winners.

The April 5 drawing proved fruitful for more than 33,000 other Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions® players as well, who won various prizes. Notably, over 7,100 of these wins came from tickets purchased with the Megaplier® option, further multiplying the excitement and rewards for players.

Despite the big win, no participant claimed the jackpot, leading to an increase to $97,000,000 for the next drawing. The night saw numerous winners across different prize categories, from matching just the Mega Ball for a modest win to nearly hitting the jackpot by matching five of five numbers.

Players who opted for the Megaplier feature saw enhanced prizes, with some turning $500 wins into $1,500 and $10 wins into $30, highlighting the impact of this option on overall winnings.

As the Pennsylvania Lottery community celebrates this win, players are reminded to check all their tickets thoroughly. With thousands of prizes won in every drawing, every ticket holds potential. The search for the next millionaire continues, with hopeful participants looking towards the upcoming draw and its $97 million jackpot.
