Bucks County Authorities Seek Wanted Suspect in Alleged Identity Theft and Fraud Case

WARRINGTON, PA — A man is now on Bucks County’s Most Wanted list, facing serious allegations of identity theft and access device fraud. Luis Hidalgo, 23, is being sought by authorities in connection with an incident that occurred at a Home Depot store in Warrington, Pennsylvania.

Hidalgo, who is described as a Hispanic male standing 6’0″ tall and weighing approximately 179 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, is facing three counts each of identity theft and access device fraud. These charges are considered serious felonies, with identity theft classified as a second-degree felony and access device fraud as a third-degree felony under Pennsylvania law.

The warrant for Hidalgo’s arrest was issued on September 26, 2023, by the Honorable Judge Stacy Wertman. The Warrington Township Police Department is the holding agency for this case.

The alleged crimes took place at the Home Depot located at 650 Easton Road in Warrington. While specific details about the incident have not been disclosed, identity theft typically involves the fraudulent use of another person’s identifying information, often for financial gain. Access device fraud, on the other hand, typically entails the unauthorized use of devices such as credit or debit cards.
