LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a critical inspection of the Route 30 bridges in Lancaster County, set to take place next week. This essential maintenance activity is designed to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the bridges that span Route 23, also known as Walnut Street, in E. Lampeter Township.

Scheduled to commence on Monday, September 16, the inspections will continue through Thursday, September 19, weather permitting. On Monday and Tuesday, there will be alternating lane closures affecting eastbound and westbound Route 23, respectively, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Subsequently, the westbound Route 30 off-ramp over Route 272 will undergo inspection on Wednesday and Thursday, with similar lane closures impacting southbound and northbound Route 272.
