Bridge Inspection Scheduled for Route 222 in West Earl Township

WEST EARL TWP — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that the Route 222 bridge spanning Route 772 (Newport Road) in West Earl Township, Lancaster County, is slated for an inspection this Thursday, August 16. This inspection was initially scheduled for the previous Monday but had to be rescheduled.

The inspection, contingent on favorable weather conditions, will be carried out from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During this period, there will be restrictions on the left and left-turn lanes on both the eastbound and westbound sides of Route 772.

PennDOT advises motorists to remain alert and exercise caution while navigating through the work zone to ensure safety and minimize disruptions.
