Bridge Construction to Begin on Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township

Lane Closure - Traffic Alert

LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced bridge construction activities next week on Porter Road as part of an ongoing $83.6 million infrastructure improvement project. The initiative aims to reconstruct and enhance approximately 2.1 miles of U.S. 422 and replace several bridges in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.

Starting Monday, April 7, and continuing through Friday, April 11, lane closures with flagging will be in effect from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Porter Road, between E. High Street and Sanatoga Station Road. These restrictions will facilitate bridge construction and related work.

Motorists traveling through the area should anticipate delays and are encouraged to allow extra time for their commutes. According to PennDOT, all scheduled activities are weather dependent and may be adjusted if conditions require.
