Bradford White Partners with Women in Plumbing and Piping to Empower Women in Trades

AMBLER, PABradford White Corporation has announced a partnership with Women in Plumbing and Piping (WiPP), an organization dedicated to elevating the role of women in the plumbing and piping industries. This collaboration aims to support workforce development and promote gender diversity in skilled trades.

Bradford White’s Industry Forward® charitable giving program will donate $10,000 to WiPP to advance its mission. Additionally, the Bradford White Women’s Network is contributing two $3,500 scholarships as part of the Women in Plumbing and Piping Scholarship Program. These scholarships are intended to encourage and support women pursuing careers in these essential fields.

The Women in Plumbing and Piping Scholarship Program is open to active WiPP members who are enrolled or plan to enroll in accredited trade or vocational schools. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to a career in the plumbing and piping industries.

Each scholarship can be applied to tuition, educational fees, textbooks, or class supplies at trade or vocational schools. Applicants must submit an essay by July 15 on the topic, “Why I Am Choosing a Career in the Trades.” Essays will be judged on clarity, grammar, passion for the trade, insight into the industry, and commitment to a long-term career.
